When Allison asked if we could take engagement pictures in Jacksonville where Scott lived and worked for the Jacksonville Jaguars I was pretty PUMPED!
The forecast leading up to that day was calling for rain and more rain but when your flight is booked you don’t cancel because of rain. You make it work and it really did! After raining all morning I landed in Jacksonville to find the sun peeking through – Hallelujah!
Allison was amazing and picked me up from the airport and we headed to grab lunch while Scott finished up at work. After we picked Scott up we headed to Cummer Museum. This nearly 100 year old garden along the St. Johns River in Jacksonville was stunning. Since the forecast predicted rainy weather we had the gardens to ourselves! I was blown away by how gorgeous the gardens were and I could have spent the entire day exploring them.
We did a quick wardrobe change before heading to our last location, Friendship Park where we had a perfect view of the John T. Alsop Jr. Bridge and downtown Jacksonville skyline!
I am very thankful with how beautiful this day turned out for Allison and Scott. I had the best time traveling to a place that means so much to them!
